Awards and Press

Among the awards that Career Gear and our staff have won are The White House National Volunteer Service Award, Proclamations from the floor of the Senate and House of Representatives from Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and Representative Jerrold Nadler, Echoing Green Foundation Fellowship for Social Change Entrepreneurs, New York 1’s Person of the Week and PepsiCo’s “Everyday Hero” Award.

Over the years, Career Gear has been featured in various national publications. Such press coverage has helped increase awareness about Career Gear’s mission and, as a result, serve more men who would otherwise be disconnected from critical social and educational services

On December 31, 2010- New Years Eve- Career Gear was featured on the Today Show in the 8:30am half hour. We are thrilled to have been featured on national television, along with our corporate sponsor GoldToe.
