Jourdan is the go-to for daily operations of Career Gear! Aside from managing all office functions, Jourdan cultivates and maintains our ever evolving Referral Partner relationships and the staff and resources associated with our many initiatives. Prior to Career Gear, Jourdan owned and managed JL Solutions, Inc, an IT consulting firm, which he sold in 2012. He has also worked for Google, Disney, Marriott, and Universal Studios. Jourdan received his BS in Communications/Public Relations from UCF and received his PMI in Project Management at NYU.

Jesseca has worked at such brands as Ralph Lauren, Calypso St. Barth, and Saatchi&Saatchi before setting her sights on media, events and donor outreach a Career Gear. Using her BFA from Yale and MA from Parsons, Jesseca works directly with corporate sponsors and the Career Gear team to create innovative content, brand recognition and donor retention to our ever-growing organization.

Meet Career Gear’s latest staffing addition! Toby is ADA certified service and emotional support and takes his job very seriously. When he’s not greeting clients, you can find Toby seriously investigating the treat situation. He loves greeting our guests and making everyone feel welcome.
Kimberly is the face of Career Gear whether it is coordinating appointments to assisting Jourdan in the day to day operations, she makes sure that the office is running smoothly and efficiently. Kimberly has the customer service skills to make sure Career Gear’s clients feel welcome and taken care of. Kimberly is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education at Queens College.
Ivan has a serious passion for helping people! He works one on one with our clients and is dedicated to making sure everyone looks and feels their best when they walk out our doors. Ivan is working towards his degree in Computer Technology at BMCC. When he isn’t at work or school, you can find Ivan exploring NYC and capturing moments for his many social media shares.
CHRIS BALJITOffice Manager
Chris is Career Gear’s go to for all front office administrative operations! Chris recently earned his AA in Liberal Arts and now is embarking on the road to a BA in Business Management. When not interacting with interns and donors, he keeps our inventory up-to-date and office clutter and drama free! Chris is also responsible for creating and establishing our “CutsForward Initiative” which provides free hair cuts to our participants!
